This article, Aisha Qandisha, is property of Chechensichkeria. Please do not edit without permission.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This character is based off of a figure in real Moroccan mythology. To fit in the Ao No Exorcist universe, I have made some creative adjustments/changes to the character. I am also well aware that my Aisha is somewhat different from the Aisha of Moroccan legend, so please do not remind me of that fact. Since there are several different variants of the legend of Qandisha, I have decided to stick with one specific story and to creatively expand on that one. Thanks.

Aisha Qandisha (Arabic: عيشة قنديشة; Japanese: アイシャ • カンディシャ), also referred to as Lalla Aisha or Aisha El Moujahid (Arabic: عائشة المجاهد) is a former human and current Demon (Jinniyah) residing in Assiah.

Appearance

Because she was formerly human, Aisha possesses a physical form and therefore does not require a human host to enter Assiah. Her appearance can vary dramatically; at times, she can appear as a beautiful woman while at others, she can be an old and ugly hag.[1] Though she can freely change her size and height at will (her real height is around 487.68 cm. or 16 ft.), she utilises a height of 167.64 cm. (5'6") in Assiah.

History

Aisha Qandisha, originally named Aisha El Moujahid, was originally born sometime at the beginning of the 16th century as a human girl. She lived with her parents in a village near El Jadida, a city in present-day Morocco. Among the people of her village, she was considered a highly beautiful woman, even as a child.
